Application
The bimetal thermometer is a field measuring instrument for measuring medium and low temperature. It can be used to directly measure the temperature of gases and liquids. Compared with the glass mercury thermometer, it has the advantages of no harm, easy reading and strong endurance.
Structural principle
The temperature measurement of the bimetal thermometer is realized by sensing the temperature of the coil spring type double-piece piece made of bimetal material inside the system. The bimetal material is composed of two inseparable metal sheets. Because the thermal expansion coefficients of the two metal sheets are different, different degrees of stretching deformation occur under temperature changes, and the stretching deformation is similar to the temperature. In proportion, the end of the metal sheet is fixed and the other end is fixed to the indicator shaft to drive the indicator shaft to rotate when the gold sheet is stretched and deformed and to indicate a corresponding temperature value on the dial.
